Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to distributed computer systems coordinating operations among user devices, independently administered external source systems, physical places, media services, content providers, institutions, fulfillment providers, access systems, and connected machines. More particularly, it relates to a distributed state-consistency protocol preserving source-specific executable authority through normalization, contextual selection, movement-governed presentation and invocation, external-result admission, physical execution, verification, release, compensation, closure, and restoration.
Technical Problem
A normalized cross-source interface may lose the enforceable relationship among a native source object, source-assigned identifier, source-authorized executable operation, authenticated endpoint, current-state indicator, system authorized to supply evidence for a particular State-Transition Class, authoritative external result, later physical event, and verified physical outcome. Local capture, message authentication, workflow correlation, or request transmission does not establish external acceptance, physical execution, release, compensation, or verification.
The disclosed system prevents false or premature machine-maintained state by resolving each result or event to a Pending-Operation Record, deriving its proposed transition and State-Transition Class, retrieving the authenticated issuer authorized under an applicable Source-Authority State Version, and admitting the result only after authority, currency, transition, freshness, ordering, expiration, and duplicate-consumption requirements are satisfied.
Summary of the Disclosure
Source adapters receive heterogeneous native source objects. A normalization engine creates a Normalized Operation Object and persistent Source-Authority Binding Record retaining the Originating System, Native Source Identifier, Native Response Operation, authenticated endpoint, Source-Authority State and version, Source-Object Current-State Indicator, permitted transitions, release and compensation operations, and Verification Predicate.
Normalized objects populate a Common Machine-Maintained Referent State. Device-derived movement produces a Presentation-Safety State selecting modality and detail while independently gating invocation. A Contextual Instruction may select an object without naming its source, but resolution preserves the selected object’s Binding Record and does not establish acceptance.
Invocation generates an Operation-Instance Identifier and Pending-Operation Record. An external result is admitted only after the system derives the transition class and verifies that its issuer is the authenticated system authorized for that class under the applicable authority version. A Physical Execution Event resolves to exactly one pending operation and causes physical verification only when its issuer is authorized for the physical class and the event satisfies the operation-bound Verification Predicate.
A persistent Physical-World Interaction Thread controls referent eligibility, operation invocability, result and physical-event admissibility, release, compensation, closure, and restoration. Further embodiments apply the same protocol to transaction-bounded media, predictive resource preparation and authoritative withdrawal, source-preserving discovery, capacity-limited resources, participant capabilities, selective disclosure, conditional physical-world action graphs, and cross-recipient governance.
Principal Machine Records
The Source-Authority Binding Record may contain: normalized-object identifier; Originating System; Native Source Identifier; Native Response Operation; endpoint or connector; credential class; Source-Authority State; Source-Authority State Version; current-state indicator; freshness and capacity state; current normalized state; permitted transitions; Verification Predicate; thread identifier; governing policy version; expiration; release and compensation operations; Prepared-Resource Identifier; Thread-Linked Verification Identifier; ordering and duplicate-consumption state; release restrictions; Authority-Change Record reference; compensation authority and state; and Recipient Transition Boundary references.
The Pending-Operation Record identifies an attempted operation, Operation-Instance Identifier, current normalized state, requested or derivable State-Transition Class, applicable authority version, permitted transition, current-state indicator, expiration, ordering, duplicate-consumption state, and Verification Predicate.
Authoritative Result Admission
The system retrieves the Pending-Operation Record using the Operation-Instance Identifier, derives a proposed transition from current state and result code, verifies that the transition is permitted, classifies it, determines the applicable Source-Authority State Version, and retrieves the authorized issuer. It rejects a result for unknown operation, impermissible transition, missing authority, unauthorized issuer, failed authentication, stale or mismatched source state, expiration, disallowed ordering, or consumed duplicate. Authentication identifies a sender; it does not establish transition authority. An admitted or rejected result mutates live referent eligibility, operation invocability, Card class, queue position, capacity, release, compensation, closure, or presentation state.
Physical Execution and Verification
A Physical Execution Event may originate from an access-control system, machine, terminal, vehicle, property system, inspection system, sensor, Executing System, recipient interface, or verification provider. The event resolves through its Operation-Instance Identifier or a limited-use Thread-Linked Verification Identifier mapped to exactly one pending operation.
After resolution, the system derives the physical transition, verifies it is permitted, identifies the applicable physical State-Transition Class and authority version, retrieves the authorized attestor, verifies issuer correspondence and authentication, checks currency, ordering, expiration, and duplicate consumption, and evaluates the operation-bound Verification Predicate. An authentic but unresolved, reused, stale, unauthorized, out-of-order, or predicate-failing event does not cause physical verification.
Release, Compensation, and Authority Changes
A prepared resource retains a Prepared-Resource Identifier, source-native release operation, endpoint, current-state indicator, and release authority. Withdrawal creates a separate release Operation-Instance Identifier and RELEASE_PENDING state. Incompatible use remains non-invocable until an authoritative release result is admitted. Timeout does not represent release.
A graph failure may retrieve a source-native Compensation Operation, generate a compensation Operation-Instance Identifier and Compensation Pending Record, and enter COMPENSATION_PENDING. Only a current, ordered, unconsumed result from the issuer authorized for the compensation class causes COMPENSATION_CONFIRMED.
An authenticated Authority-Change Record may identify prior and replacement authority versions, effective time or sequence, affected transition classes, newly authorized and revoked systems, and treatment of pending operations. A superseded authority does not become admissible merely because its result is authentic or correlated.
Participant and Cross-Recipient Governance
A verified place session may generate a parent Temporary Place-Scoped Capability Token. First and second Participant Capabilities may be derived for independently administered recipients with distinct purpose, audience, operation, validity, disclosure scope, event class, and Recipient Transition Boundary. Participant-Specific Disclosure Objects may omit different fields from a canonical context. Authentication under one participant object cannot authorize a State-Transition Class assigned to another.
A Triggering Physical-Environment Event may create a Decision Card for a first recipient while a source-native physical operation remains non-invocable for a second recipient. An authenticated authority-bearing response traverses an Authority Graph edge and activates the operation without requiring a change in the second recipient’s location. A Responsive Physical Execution Event is then resolved to the activated operation and independently verified by the system authorized for the verification class before closure or restoration.
Technical Improvement
The architecture improves distributed computer operation by preventing an external message or physical event from modifying machine-maintained state solely because it is authenticated, correlated, or generally related to the same object, user, place, or workflow. Transition-class authority, authority-version selection, source-current-state correspondence, operation-instance resolution, replay and ordering controls, and operation-bound physical verification jointly control admissibility. The resulting mutation changes executable computer behavior rather than merely displaying information or routing a human task.
Claims — Attorney Review Copy
The claims are maintained as an attorney-review claim set and are not intended as admissions concerning the scope or content of other systems. Independent Claim 1 covers the complete source-authority-preserving, movement-governed, contextual-resolution, external-result-admission, and operation-bound physical-verification sequence. Dependent claims address wrong-authority rejection, diagnostic use, idempotency, media state, predictive preparation and authoritative release, source-preserving discovery, capacity, participant capabilities and Recipient Transition Boundaries, conditional graphs and authoritative compensation. A separate independent governance claim distinguishes a Triggering Physical-Environment Event from a Responsive Physical Execution Event and requires independently authorized physical attestation. Method and non-transitory-medium claims parallel the system limitations.
Counsel should use the complete 49-claim set supplied with docket CEECEE-001PROV and conform it to the Source-Authority State Version, Authority-Change Record, compensation, Recipient Transition Boundary, and two-event terminology stated in this disclosure before filing.
Abstract
A distributed computer system coordinates operations across independently administered external systems while preserving transition-specific source authority. Source adapters generate normalized operation objects retaining native identifiers, executable operations, current-state indicators, authority mappings and versions, and verification predicates. Device-derived movement conditions select presentation modality and gate invocation. A contextual instruction resolves to an object without naming its source. An operation-instance identifier retrieves a pending-operation record used to derive a proposed transition, identify an issuer authorized for that transition class, and reject unauthorized, stale, expired, out-of-order, or duplicate results. A physical execution event resolves to exactly one pending operation and is evaluated against an operation-bound verification predicate and authorized physical-event issuer. A persistent physical-world interaction thread controls referent eligibility, operation invocability, result and event admissibility, release, compensation, closure, and restoration.
